Marc Jacobs will do whatever it takes to have a flawless runway show and apparently that includes GLUING the models into the shoes.
The Sunday Times‘ Style magazine revealed this weekend:
“At the Louis Vuitton SS12 show, the teetering mules are stuck to the models’ feet with wig glue. It may be a nightmare to get off afterwards, but it’s just one of the backstage tricks that Marc Jacobs and his team use to ensure that everything is perfect on the day.”
Sounds brutal, but it must work because we don’t remember seeing any of the models falling on the carousel.
