Boyhood Completes Their Big Night By Winning Best Picture At The Critics’ Choice Awards

And we’ve made it to the big moment of the night!

As you’d expect, the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards category was full of so much emotion and talent! We’re not even sure how they picked a winner!

But the did, and the winner is… !

It’s not a huge surprise since the flick was the big winner of the night! The other films it beat out were Birdman, Gone Girl, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Nightcrawler, Selma, The Theory of Everything, Unbroken, and Whiplash.

We wish they all could win, but this film deserved the distinguishment.

Kevin Costner Gets The Lifetime Achievement Award At The Critics’ Choice Awards For His 50+ Films

Kevin Costner has been in over 50 , and has won more than we can even handle, but luckily Dan Dotson was there to handle it!

For the first female acting of the , Emily Blunt beat out some other A- celebs to win the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for an in an .

She really was fun to watch in the Edge of Tomorrow, but her acceptance speech might have been even better!

used her time on stage to highlight how amazing it was to play a woman in an action flick who wasn’t just a damsel in distress.

To win her award, she beat out Scarlett Johansson for Lucy, Jennifer Lawrence for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, Zoe Saldana for Guardians of the Galaxy, and Shailene Woodley for Divergent.

Plus, Emily even got to share a totally adorable moment with her husband John Krasinski.
