We’re totally gonna cry this Friday…
That’s because Glee is airing its series finale this week and we’re hearing that Cory Monteith is going to be a part of it!
Apparently, Ryan Murphy is bringing his hit series way back to the beginning in a flashback episode called 2009, and Cory is going to reprise his role of Finn before he joined New Directions.
Lea Michele spoke about her final song for the series, This Time written by Darren Criss, at PaleyFest on Friday, saying:
“I cried the whole week. I was a mess. That was the day I fell to my knees and cried. I literally had to call my mother to come. It was the most special day. I got to say everything to everyone here and everyone who will watch it that I wanted to say, but you can’t think of the words, and he wrote them.”
That’s so cute!

And we knew Darren was talented, but penning Lea’s last solo on her own show is huge!
Plus, Jonathan Groff is already coming back to William McKinley High School for one last appearance, so we wonder who else is gonna stop by.
Don’t miss the final episode of Glee this Friday, March 20, at 8/7c!
Alas, all great things must come to an end.
The cast of Glee wrapped filming for the final season of the beloved FOX musical, but of course, they couldn’t leave without taking a few souvenirs!!
Lea Michele and the rest of her co-stars documented their last day of shooting on Saturday afternoon — so sentimental!

The Gleeks had a fun carnival send-off on the Paramount lot, but when the day ended, Princess Lea made off with one thing that meant a great deal to her.
Lea shared the photo (above) on Instagram with the caption:
“One last thing. ❤️”
She took home Cory Monteith‘s jersey with her as she left the set!
Tears are streaming down right now, we can’t even!
Can you imagine anyone else taking Finn’s jersey…
It’s been a great six years! Time to move onto bigger and better things.

For the love of Mr. Feeny, aren’t they so cute?!
It’s almost time for Cory and Topanga to get back together on TV—and this time, they’re parents!
Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have returned to reprise their Boy Meets World roles in a brand new Disney Channel series…
And we’re more excited than Shawn Hunter on a snow day!
This time, Girl Meets World picks up more than 10 years after Boy Meets World left off.
C and T are married and raising two children, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and son Auggie (August Maturo).
Pals Sabrina Carpenter, Peyton Meyer and Corey Fogelmanis also appear in the adorable promo snap—which is just getting us even more stoked for the show’s 2014 premiere!
We’re ready to be taught adorable life lessons again, please!
No word on the show’s actual release date yet—but we hope it’s soon!

Well, well, well. Look who it is!
The nerdiest nuisance at John Adams High is back on Girl Meets World!
The fan-favorite from Boy Meets World (played by Lee Norris) was on hand for a special guest appearance on the Disney Channel’s spin-off show!
Ch-ch-check out his and Ben Savage’s reunion on set (above)!
From this pic, we’d guess Minkus is dropping by Cory’s classroom for a visit.
That’s right, he’ll officially be Mr. Matthews now and not just to Feeny – Cory’s going to be a teacher on Girl Meets World!
Maybe Minkus is joining the faculty too? We all know he’s smart enough to teach just about any subject!
Reports are that Norris is only set to guest star in one episode right now, but maybe producers will bring him on as a regular!
If he doesn’t annoy anybody too much that is.
Girl Meets World‘s highly anticipated premiere is happening this summer!
Cory and Topanga, together again! Cannot wait!

Cory Monteith has influenced Lea Michele ever since he came into her life.
Even though he isn’t with her physically anymore since he tragically passed away last summer, Cory continues to affect Lea’s life in many ways and she continues to remember the great times and conversations they had together.
The Glee star opened up about their relationship and revealed:
“I only have happy memories of Cory. He was not his addiction—unfortunately, it won. But that wasn’t who he was. Cory made me feel like a queen every day. From the minute he said, ‘I’m your boyfriend,’ I loved every day, and I thank him for being the best boyfriend and making me feel so beautiful.”
Lea went on to explain the meaning behind releasing Louder on March 4th and how the death of Cory influenced the direction of her album:
“Just think about it: we’re going to ‘March fo(u)rth.’ We’re going to march forth like a cannonball. I try my best to march forth and live my life as best as I can for me. I also feel an incredible, happy responsibility to keep the memory and light of [Cory, who] was the most amazing person. I’m so happy to make it my journey now to continue on and live my life as best as I can.
I set out to make a really pop-heavy album that was fun and empowering—I love Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson! But then I found myself picking and writing these songs that were very emotional and dramatic. Louder has songs that express extreme love and some pain. I look at it and think, That was my year. I didn’t record any songs that I didn’t completely relate to.”
Lea has been busily working on her solo album, but that doesn’t mean she’s forgetting those who have been there for here through the dark times.
She said about her Glee family:
“[The Glee cast] is the greatest group of people I have ever met in my entire life! We all lost Cory. I didn’t think for one minute that being away from them was what I wanted. Being on the set of Glee is no more difficult than being at home and finding [Cory's] slippers under the bed. We had a life and a job together—it goes with you everywhere you go. You can’t get away from grief. So I might as well be surrounded by the people I love and get to lean on them.”
Surrounding yourself with close friends and the same people who also lost someone in their life definitely helps the grieving process.
Miz Michele continues to inspire us!

You’ve been warned about the tissues, people!
Lea Michele is ready to really open up about intimate conversations she had with Cory Monteith before his tragic passing – giving us a real window into their love.
In the new issue of Glamour UK , the Glee starlet is revealing her former future plans with her co-star, including growing old together and having a big family:
“We talked about a lot of things. We talked about children and what we would look like when we grew old and who would be fat and how we would stay thin. We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. We were done. We were it. When you’re at that place in your life with someone, you talk about everything. But today I feel like I was given the best part of Cory and I’m thankful for that.”
And even though she’s not ready right now, Lea does realize she’ll need to reenter the dating scene, sooner or later, but it will be on her own time and at a pace she’s comfortable with:
“I’ve only ever had serious relationships so it’s an adjustment putting myself back into a place of being alone. And I was under a Cory Monteith spell…it’ll take time to readjust my mind and I’m really not wanting to do that right now. I feel like it’s so important to make sure that I’m 100% OK before I can get into a relationship. But people have to understand that I can’t be alone forever. Cory wouldn’t want that.”
She’s so strong, isn’t she?!
Miz Michele has so many things to look forward to in life, including an exciting career in both acting and music – so we’re happy she’s grieving and processing openly.
We admire you, Lea!
