Glee wrapped its fourth season with a celebratory cake from Charm City Cakes West! The cake, made in the form of one GIANT slushie, apparently weighed close to 50lbs!!
As the cast members fought to “quench” their thirst, obvi __________ got the first bite!

We’ve caught word that Oscar winner Patty Duke and former Family Ties castmember Meredith Baxter have signed on to appear during the season finale of Glee as a lesbian couple who have been together for 25 years!
Awesome news, right?! JUST WAIT!
According to insiders on the smash Fox series, these lovely ladies get involved in all the McKinley High shenanigans because Duke’s character works at a jewelry store, and runs into none other than (SPOILER ALERT!) Darren Criss‘ Blaine because he decided he’s going to PROPOSE to Chris Colfer‘s Kurt!
We repeat, BLAINE IS PROPOSING TO KURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, at least we know that he’s thinking about it! And that, folks, is enough to send us into a musical FRENZY!
Okay, back to the news!
Apparently, Duke is so touched by the whole ordeal that she and Baxter offer to become mentors for our beloved Klaine, and seeing as they’re expected to return on a recurring basis in season five, we think the request was ACCEPTED!
And we couldn’t be more THRILLED! And frankly, ANXIOUS to see what will happen!

Out of all the cast members from Glee, I’d figure that Lea Michele would be the one to announce that she’s checking herself into rehab on a Sunday night since she’s always high on herself. But no, Lea’s real-life and TV boyfriend Cory Monteith checked into rehab and last night he released a statement through his rep to People saying that he needs to press pause on everything else and deal with a substance addiction right now.
“Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”
30-year-old Cory (I know, I didn’t know he was 30 either. He’s the Gabrielle Carteris of Glee) first went to rehab when he was 19 after his family staged an intervention. Cory said before that he was addicted to booze and pretty much snorted and smoked everything else. When Cory got out of rehab the first time, he went straight back to the bottle and kept drinking until he got caught stealing a bunch of money from a relative. That was the bottom under Cory’s rock bottom and after that, he cleaned up, got a job as a roofer, took acting classes and now he’s on Glee.
A quick minute after Cory released his statement, Lea released her own, “I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”
And I don’t know if Cory’s going to feel weird or relieved when he’s in rehab and realizes that not everybody around him is suddenly breaking into song and changing costumes. It’s probably going to make him feel weird. This is why we need all-singing rehab.
Glee star Cory Monteith has checked into rehab to treat substance addiction, his publicist revealed Sunday night. It is unclear what substances he is being treated for.
Sadly, this is not an April Fool’s joke!
A rep for Lea Michele‘s boyfriend says:
“[Moteith] has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”
This news is truly sad and shocking, as there have been no reports of unprofessional behavior or hard partying from Monteith.
Cory, 30 years old, has been open about his struggles with addiction in the past and previously checking in to rehab at 19.
“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too,” Monteith said in 2011. “But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it.”
Our heart goes out to Monteith and we wish him a speedy recovery as he deals with his issues.

Gleeks, behold! Come April, 11th, we’ll FINALLY be getting some Sam and Brittany lovin’!
In the upcoming episode Shooting Star, Glee stars Chord Overstreet and Heather Morris will get to explore their romance a little bit more than they have until now.
