Part of the magic Disney seems to have captured to create their live action version of Cinderella was the casting of beautiful star Lily James.
But ever since the first trailer dropped, Lily has been getting a lot of criticism — not for her acting chops, but for her body!

Many criticized her small waist, saying it was obviously digitally altered to look smaller — creating an impossible body model for young girls.
Well, Lily is ready to defend her body against the naysayers.
First, she says, there was no movie magic involved — just good genes and good costume design! She explained:
“I naturally have a really small waist. The skirt’s big and the corset pulls me in, and that’s the point. That’s the shape [costume designer] Sandy Powell created.”
There you have it. That’s just how dresses were designed in the old-timey setting of the story.
But how did all the criticism of her body affect Lily herself? She responded:
“I think it’s all very hypocritical, and they contradict themselves, and they’re drawing more attention to it. I think all that stuff’s so negative, and you’ve got to let it wash over your head. I’m so healthy. I’ve got hips and boobs and a bum and a small waist.”
Yep. Everyone has a different body type, and it’s not cool to bash anyone’s — even those with naturally small waists.

Kate is great!
Heck, Kate Middleton is SO great that she captured Prince William‘s attention along with the adoration of countless others who follow her every move.
But her greatness does nothing for her younger brother James!
In fact, when asked about his sister for the latest issue of The Young Director digital magazine, the 27-year-old businessman voiced feelings of resentment.
“Yes, it does get frustrating. I work incredibly hard—just like every other person in business and work. And aside from the fact of — yes, I am the brother of someone very important—I am, at the end of the day, just James.”

In case you’re wondering who James is and what he’s about outside of his family, however, he’s a businessman with dyslexia!
Right now he’s working hard on his company Boomf, which allows people to have their pics printed on marshmallows.
Seriously Kate, why aren’t you promoting this stuff???
Hopefully we hear more from James and his business ventures in the future!

If you ever get to kiss James Franco, he will keep tabs!
This was exactly the case when the 36-year-old actor interviewed Emma Roberts for the spring issue of Heroine magazine.

The two thespians have actually starred in two movies together — 2013′s Palo Alto and the up-coming I Am Michael — and in both, they got to lock lips!
When comparing both smooches, the 127 Hours star did have a preference!
He told Miz Roberts that he:
“Felt like our kiss was better in the second movie [I Am Michael]“
To which the 23-year-old jokingly replied:
“Maybe I’m a character actress. I didn’t realize you were paying such close attention on both movies, or maybe I would have done it differently.”
Regardless of which one was better, we’re just jealous Emma got to kiss James Franco in the first place! Get it, girl!

Despite the Sony hackers’ best efforts, The Interview was still released in theaters on Christmas day, and people still came out to see it en masse!
Well, James Franco and Seth Rogen are doing their best to make sure everyone sees their controversial flick by live tweeting it, along with their director Evan Goldberg. Rogen tweeted:
“Tomorrow @JamesFrancoTV, @evandgoldberg and myself will be LIVE TWEETING #TheInterview at 2pm PST! Join us! It’ll be like Pop-UP Video!”

Well this is certainly surprising, Rush Limbaugh saying something awful!
Just kidding, we’re not even 0.000001% surprised by this statement.
The rumors swirling about the future of the James Bond franchise show that Idris Elba could be the next actor to play the iconic spy.

Which is so freakin’ AWESOME and would be absolutely brilliant casting.
Except Rush doesn’t think so. He said:
“James Bond is a total concept put together by Ian Fleming. He was white and Scottish. Period. That is who James Bond is, was. But now Sony is suggesting that the next James Bond should be Idris Elba, a black Britain, rather than a white from Scotland. But that’s not who James Bond is and I know it’s racist to probably point this out.”
We just cannot even with that whole statement.
But wait, that’s not all he said!
He also went on to say that this casting choice is equal to Hollywood having George Clooney and Kate Hudson play President Barack and Michelle Obama.
Except that the Obamas are the first black President and First Lady of the United States, something remarkable and historically important given the country’s history.
Meanwhile, being white isn’t an essential quality to James Bond. Being suave is. And Idris has that quality DOWN!
Besides, Daniel Craig isn’t Scottish either, and that — wait, why are we bothering trying to have a rational discussion with Rush Limbaugh?? LOLz!
