We’re so happy that these two co-collaborators are still keeping it amicable!
There were rumors going around that Jennifer Lawrence and directorDavid O. Russell got into a screaming match on the set of Joy, but it gives us great joy to tell you that it was not actually a spat between the pair!
David was apparently getting J.Law pumped up for a fight scene and that their heated exchange was meant to bring out a certain performance he wanted, according to a Fox 2000 rep:
“David’s process is, when they yell rolling, he will repeat the line in the tone he wants.”
In case you were still in a little doubt, Katniss herself took to her infrequently used social media account to tackle the story herself.
Here’s what Jennifer posted the following message on her Facebook page to clear up the rumor:
It’s Jen! I know I don’t go on here a lot because I can barely work email but there’s been a terrible rumor going around the last 24 hours so I wanted to clear it up.
David O. Russell is one of my closest friends and we have an amazing collaborative working relationship. I adore this man and he does not deserve this tabloid malarkey. This movie is going great and I’m having a blast making it!”
Well, we absolutely cannot wait to see this film! We’re so glad that everything is still
Kodi Smit-McPhee, whom you may have seen in Let Me In or more recently Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, will be taking over the role!
Though we love Alan Cumming, we have to say this talented teen looks like perfect casting to us! We mean, he doesn’t have blue fur, but apart from that, he’s the spitting image of the lithe teleporter.
Jennifer Aniston was one of the greatest parts of the ensemble cast on the show Friends but a recent admission by the actress makes it seem as if her part was almostreplaced at one point!
The revelation happened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival this past Friday when the actress who played Rachel Green on the show said:
“Friends came when I was off doing Muddling Through. So there was a period where I had to stand out of the photographs for the group shots, and I had phone calls from girlfriends saying, ‘I’m auditioning for your part in Friends.’ “
JenniferAniston was worried the show Muddling Through would become a hit after she landed the role on Friends and her part would be replaced but the producers took a chance on their belief that Muddling Through would fail which it did after three months. Jennifer said:
“They just took the chance that Muddling Through would fail after the two episodes they picked it up for. And so I just started doing this back-and-forth from Sony to Warner Bros. for two weeks.”
But Jennifer Lopez feels like that’s happened to her a LOT when it comes to her love life.
After the 45-year-old dated 27-year-old Casper Smart for a few years, she was often called a cougar. Then more recently, J.Lo’s much younger co-star Ryan Guzman in her new flickThe Boy Next Door has prompted relationship buzz.
However, Jennifer wants everyone to know she’s NOT dating Ryan and she doesn’t like being called a cougar — not one bit!
