And the the Academy can do is to say they put her on their website gallery?

Well, Melissa Rivers has something to say about the .

The Fashion Police producer took to her late mother’s Facebook page Monday night, writing:

“It would have been nice, especially considering the impact she had on the awards season but Cooper and I have been overwhelmed with support and love over my mom’s passing and we choose to focus on that.”

Way to take the high road, gurl!

We’re not sure we could have been quite so serene after such a public insult.

But Melissa is right. Focus on the positive!

Patricia Arquette Defends Her Oscars Speech & Post-Win Remarks On Twitter

We loved Patricia Arquette‘s acceptance speech, but there’s been some backlash at some of the she made after winning her Best Supporting Actress award at the Oscars!

[ Related: The Oscars Was A Family Affair! ]

After discussing gender equality in her televised , the Oscar-winner made the following comments while speaking to reporters backstage:

“It’s time for us. It’s time for women. Equal means equal. It’s inexcusable that we go around the world and talk about equal rights for women in other countries when we don’t have equal rights for women in America. When they wrote the Constitution, they didn’t intend it for women. The truth is: even though we sort of feel like we have equal rights in America, right under the surface, there are huge issues that are applied that really do affect women and it’s time for all the women in America and all the men that love women, and all the gay people, and all the people of color that we’ve all fought for to fight for us now.”

While these remarks were not enjoyed by some critics, has since tried to expand upon her thoughts.

Patricia took to Twitter to clarify her remarks, and her words are even more inspirational:

What do U about the whole ordeal??

Let us if you’re team Patricia in the comments (below)!!!

If You Thought Neil Patrick Harris Was Super Nervous About His Underwear Moment On Stage At The Oscars, Think Again!

Neil Patrick Harris had some pretty memorable moments the Oscars last night.

Not only was his opening number freaking AH-Mazing, but the bit where he stripped down to his undees had everyone dying with laughter!

[ Watch: Neil Pulls A Birdman By Stripping Down To His Underwear! ]

It was a very risky move and the show’s host HAD to be nervous it, right?!

Well according to NPH, he wasn’t!

The 41-year-old explained how he felt in the moment at the Governor’s Ball after the show, saying:

“I really didn’t about it. I really didn’t. I did Hedwig, so I’m used to being on stage without much on. I just think of it as an audience. It’s not about numbers. It’s always just an audience.”

Well, at least he didn’t the whole audience in their undies too, that would’ve been totally cliché!

However, said he did have to do some extra sets of sit-ups to get ready for big moment.

He shared:

“I did more sit-ups for the last couple of weeks.”

But, if Neil wasn’t too worried about his brief moment of being on stage in nothing but tighty whiteys, what was he worried about??

Apparently the emcee’s toughest part was the opening number!

[ Watch: Neil Brings The Movie Magic Back To The Oscars! ]

The actor said:

“The hard part was the anticipation of getting it right. There were so many moving parts that the anticipation and the worry was killing me.”

That totally makes sense.

It’s so much harder to control how things go when other elements and people are involved!

So, being worried about the opening number more so than the underwear moment definitely makes sense when you think about the context!

LOLz!
