Apparently, Ryan Murphy is bringing his hit series way back to the beginning in a flashback episode called 2009, and Cory is going to reprise his role of Finn before he joined New Directions.
Lea Michele spoke about her final song for the series, This Time written by Darren Criss, at PaleyFest on Friday, saying:
“I cried the whole week. I was a mess. That was the day I fell to my knees and cried. I literally had to call my mother to come. It was the most special day. I got to say everything to everyone here and everyone who will watch it that I wanted to say, but you can’t think of the words, and he wrote them.”
Though this time it isn’t regeneration we have to thank but rather a little Best Picture Oscar winner called Birdman!
In a new interview with Cigar Aficionado magazine (Wolverine’s favorite!), Hugh described how watching Michael Keaton‘s former superhero gave him new inspiration:
“I said to my wife, ‘The moral is that I should never stop playing Wolverine. I’ve got to find a way to keep playing him until I die.’”
Yesss! Considering the amazing shape Hugh is in, that really could be forever!
In fact, Hugh keeps getting in better shape BECAUSE OF Wolverine. He explained:
“I always want to be in better shape than I was for the last one. I don’t believe in stagnation.
People say they try to maintain the status quo. But I believe the natural cycle means you’re either advancing and getting closer to something or you’re receding … Every time I play Wolverine, I want to go further, physically and emotionally.”
Though Hugh does admit that when his time as the mutant hero will be over, he will be happy to pass the torch:
“I know that someday they’ll recast the role with another actor. I’d be happy if the role was eventually recast. It would mean that it had become iconic.”
Thanks to Hugh and his incredible butt, it already is.
“James Bond is a total concept put together by Ian Fleming. He was white and Scottish. Period. That is who James Bond is, was. But now Sony is suggesting that the next James Bond should be Idris Elba, a black Britain, rather than a white from Scotland. But that’s not who James Bond is and I know it’s racist to probably point this out.”
