Judging by pre-sales & a super-strong Wednesday and Thursday opening, studio shaman’s expect the sci-fi sequel to break 0 mil in its opening weekend!!!
0,000,000!?!?
Whoa! Somebody needs to beam J.J. Abrams up a congratulatory bottle of champagne!!
Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Benedict Cumberbatch all look super fine in their totally tight & extra fabulous federation apparel, so we aren’t surprised audiences are flocking to Star Trek this weekend instead of Iron Man 3 or The Great Gatsby!!!
Still, we don’t think RDJ should be too worried!
The space saga is still about a billion bucks shy of becoming this summer’s top banana!
Seeing as how the network has been having some ratings issues of late, it needs all the help it can get. But we think its decision to pick up Rand Ravich’s conspiracy drama might be a good one!
Marking the return of X-Files’ GillianAnderson alongside DermotMulroney, One Tree Hill alum James Lafferty, and Rachael Taylor, the show is described as the following:
“When Washington’s most powerful players are pulled into an international conspiracy, an unlikely puppeteer will bring everyone from CEOs to The President of the United States to their knees by threatening the things they hold most dear.”
The so-sexy-it-hurts actor recently sat down with Jimmy Fallon to chat about all things Star Trek, and during the chinwag Zach explained how he and costar Chris Pine would play word games during their international press interviews…
Ch-ch-check out the HIGHlarious action (above)!
Ooooo we could listen to Zach spit SAT words alllllll night long, LOLz!
Jane Levy, of Suburgatory and Evil Deadfame, may not make her way into the world of celebrity gossip too often, but apparently, the actress has just filed for divorcefrom a husband NOBODY seems to know that she had in the first place!
According to reports, the 23-year-old was married to another actor named Jaime Freitas in March of 2011, right before she found fame on the HIGHlarious ABC comedy. However, by October seven months later, they had separated…but only officially filed the divorce paperwork on April 16th of this year!
And that’s all we know, other than the fact that she doesn’t wan to pay spousal support!
Not that we blame her! The marriage last seven months!
And we imagine she’s got a whole lot more in her bank account now than when she met him!
Sorry to hear that things didn’t work out, gurl! Best of luck with all this!
Ch-ch-check out the intro (above) for one seriously good look at the upcoming episode! They’ve sure packed a whole lot in such a short amount of time!
The episode follows Bae’s childhood journey and cross over into the land of Wendy Darling and her Peter Pan. A hungry boy on the streets of 19th century London, Bae wanders into the Darling household in search of food, when he’s found by Wendy herself.
We also get a peek at Emma, Mary Margaret, and David’s search for Regina — the evil queen who actually happens to be undergoing electroshock therapy under the captivity of Captain Hook!
It’s just too good!
Now, excuse us. We’re too busy rewatching these first eight minutes.
